What's a credit?

Credits are the billing unit for AI work in Hops. Credit use depends on the model, context size, tool use, agent steps, and output generated. Credits are limited-use SaaS service credits. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

Credits are non-refundable except where required by law. If you cancel, unused top-up credits remain available until they expire, unless your account is terminated for fraud, abuse, nonpayment, or violation of our Terms.

Why use a meter instead of an AI seat price?

AI use varies enormously between people and between weeks. A flat AI seat overcharges light users and throttles heavy ones. A pooled meter follows the work instead: an occasional question costs next to nothing, a heavy research job costs what it actually took, and at the end of the month the bill looks like what your team did.

Are there fees besides AI work?

No per-action fees, no per-automation surcharges, no AI seat tax. Some products charge for each action or step on top of the model usage; in Hops, credits meter the AI work, and collaboration never draws from the pool.

Because it should be. How much do you pay for team chat? For your task tracker? Your database? Docs, chat, and tasks are table stakes — we give them to your whole team for free. You pay only for AI work.

What does fair use mean?

Fair-use limits apply to free collaboration features such as docs, chat, tasks, tables, storage and workspace activity. They are designed to prevent abuse, automated scraping, excessive non-AI consumption, inactive workspace hoarding, and usage that materially affects service quality for other customers. AI work is metered separately through credits.

Are there limits on the plans?

Generous fair-use limits apply: big enough for a real evaluation by a real team. The Go plan currently includes 5 GB of storage, 100,000 messages and 1,000 docs, with no cap on members. Limits may change prospectively; current limits are always listed in our Terms. Unused, idle workspaces may be removed after prior notice, with time to export.

Which integrations are available?

A curated set of featured integrations covering the tools most teams use daily is included on every plan. The full 2,000+ integration library is part of Enterprise. For a limited time as part of our launch, the full library is also included on Go at no extra cost. It's a promotional offer, not a permanent Go feature: we'll announce any change in advance and give a notice period before access changes.

What are extended connectors?

Extended connectors expand Hops’ native integrations through third-party connector infrastructure. They are available during the launch promotion on Go and may be subject to plan limits or credit-based usage over time. Core connectors remain included on all plans.

Can credit pricing or model availability change?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Model availability, routing, credit packages, and consumption rates may change prospectively as providers, features, and usage patterns change. Completed runs are not repriced after completion.

Are prices inclusive of taxes?

Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes. Any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout or on your invoice.
